 Musketeer and Krumel |
Owner---Ingwe These 2 darlings belong to Ingwe, in Perth. I'll let Ingwe describe them for you. You must click on these pictures for the full size version--they are adorable!
"Musketeer, the fluffy Australian ragamuffin is grooming a blissfully happy Krumel. Krumel is our old South African lady, moody at times, but more often purring and cuddly. Musketeer is the gung-ho adventurer and proud explorer
of all laundry baskets, shopping bags, and cupboards, making friends in the neighbourhood (one for all and all for one!) |

 Sidney |
Owner---Busybooklover "This is Sidney, an Australian Shepherd. She the best Frisbee dog, water dog and tricks dog- not to mention soft & snuggly (She believes she is a 50+ lb LAP dog!) and she puts up with love and cuddles from my 2 & 4 yr olds with AMAZING patience."

 Milo
 Fred and Ethel
 Chili and Chippie |
Owner---Bunrab Milo is a Silkie guinea pig, with long straight hair, and he loves being held.
The rabbits are French lops (they weigh about 9 lbs apiece). Individually, they are Fred and Ethel; collectively, we call them the Puffalumps.
Along with rabbits and guinea pigs, BunRab also has chinchillas. Chili, the one on the left, is 11 years old now; Chippy is 5 years old and needs to go on a diet. (His former owner is moving to CA, where chins are not legal pets.) They got along instantly; here they are squooshed together to sleep.

 Monty
 Maggie
| Owner---Montsnmags Monty, is the older at
5 - Maggie is 3, though, to be fair, Airedales only act like adults between the ages of 3 and 4 (which is why the dignity in the picture of Monty is so ironic).
Beautiful photography, Montsnmags. |

Bella

Aussie |

Monster

Skye and Buckie |
Owner-Jawin Jawin and her babies live in Australia.
Monster cat is 6 years old and weighs 7.5 kgs (11 pounds I think). Skye and Buckie are beautiful Westies. Skye is 12 and Buckie has just turned 15. They are both smaller than Monster.
Monster is certainly the boss. He hates it if I spend too long reading and not enough time patting him and has been known to throw books on the floor and even leave teeth marks. Naughty Monster. |
 Mrs. Moose and Family |
Owner---Keister Ok, so these aren't exactly "Pets", but they hang out in Keister's yard, so that makes them sort of pets. Meet Mrs. Moose and her twin calves.

Keister

Sukoshi and Oreo

Oreo |
Owner-Keister This is Keister the Magnificent, who belongs to, who else, Keister the BookCrosser.
This is my girl Keister. She is the mother of Oreo. She came from a remote place near the Kennicott mine (copper ore) which closed in the 30's (?). Hubby says we seem to have the same personality --- she used to attack him when we first started dating --- my protector. Sukoshi (left) is Oreo's (right) father. He was an abandoned kitten we rescued from a trailer park. Sukoshi = a little bit, in Japanese. He is a serious lap cat who loves belly rubs, but is frequently scared of his own shadow. This is Oreo, the youngest in our family (5 y/o). He is the first born of my other two cats. For a long time he was known as "Whoa!". I did not know Keister was expecting (very young) and found this little guy in my closet, he was a solo kitten. Of course the first word out of my mouth when I found him was "whoa!". He is a tough guy who, at 4 months, was jumped by my old neighbors dog and I had to climb 20 feet up a tree to retrieve him. He had a dislocated shoulder and shattered arm, so off to surgery and the next 12 weeks with a 'halo' type contraption on his arm and had to be in a cage when no one was home so he wouldn't get it caught on anything and hurt himself. Now when he's not outside patrolling our place, he lounges on the couch where there is always a pile of books. We have caught him reading by flashlight at night when he thinks we've gone to bed. |

Arki

Bandit |
Owner-Libertine101 I love black and white photography!
Libertine101 thinks that she owns the kitty, Arki. This is her first kitty, so she still has some things to learn about cats, but she also has a lot of joy ahead of her too! Arki just turned one in October.
She recently acquired a second kitty, called Bandit because he stole their hearts--and Arki's food! |

JAC |
Owner--Snubbysgal JAC (Just Another Cat) is an Army cat with an adorable personality. We are the third family that he's lived with. He's an Army cat with an adorable personality. Pets of servicemembers tend to change hands alot when the owners are forced to move. We adopted him, and he will be a part of our family for as long as he'll have us. His most recent family decided to find him a new home because he was killing their son's hamsters.(WE liked that about him). |

Tommy |
Owner-RealBookworm's Mom Meet Tommy, the kitten that Realbookworm and her husband rescued from a parking lot. In the end, he went to live with RBW's mom, where he spends his days sitting in laps. |
Isabelle Lima Bean and Tiger |
Owner---Sunflowerluvr "I wanted to send a picture of my Isabelle Lima Bean (shih-tuz) and Tiger. Tiger is much bigger than the dog. He (Tiger) is 10 years old has only been outside over night once when he got curious out the open basement door and we accidentally shut him out. You never saw a cat fly in the door as fast as him the next morning.
Isabelle is 9 months. She is the splitting image of my beloved Carlye Sue Ellen which I lost last Dec. 2 after 14 years together. “I said no more dogs” because it hurt so much to lose Carlye.
As time went by there was a hole in our lives that kept growing. No little beggar when we ate cheese. No little barker when someone was at the door. No one to run and greet you at the door like they haven’t seen you for years. Also, no one sitting on your lap (like now) while your trying to type on the computer.
We were in Columbus, OH for my daughters cheerleading competition for a weekend in March. Very ugly weather and we were stuck a lot inside on the 20th floor of the Hyatt/Regency down town. Just for grins and giggles we checked the local papers for shih-tuz’s. Back home the only type we could find were either all black, brown or mixed with gold. Carlye was a party mix. There was an ad for puppies and we called about them. The lady was very nice and we told her of our plight. She had a web site and we looked at her puppies on our lap top. As soon as the picture came up of my little baby Isabelle (ma-ling to the breeder) my daughter said “Mom you have to go and get her!”
This was Saturday night and also my daughters last competition. She wanted the puppy more than having me see her last event. So off I went an hour upstate Ohio to the city of Lima. Fell in love and had to sneak this puppy into the Hyatt for the night. Then sneak her back out for the 6 hour journey back home to PA on Sunday. That is why she is called Isabelle Lima Bean. The kids call her Bean
She has patched up the big hole in our hearts (and chewed up a few things-slippers, coffee table leg, plastic lids) but we love her dearly. |
