"I nominate time-traveler. We were in one of the release challenges
last month, & I tried to encourage her on her releases & then bam I got a pm
that she would like to send me a book on my wish list. I was totally
flumoxed by this & when the book arrived it was one that I had wanted for a
very long time. She is the greatest, most generous person that I have never
met." -Sha-

"I would like to nominate karenbc. She had a
topic in chit-chat about horses. My daughter loves them and rides and
jumps in shows. She sent me a book about Lippazaner stallions and a
beautiful scarf with horses on it. It will be saved to give my daughter
for Christmas. We're having a little financial difficulty (my own fault)
this year and the book and scarf are greatly appreciated." -Mom94-

"I would like to nominate Pyan for the RABCK round-up!
I have a huge problem with online buying:
Since I live in Serbia I cannot register myself at PayPal (my country is
not covered); eBay couldn't authorize my debit VISA card and therefore I
couldn't registered at eBay either; Western Union Money Transfer is working
only in one direction (I could receive but not send money); at Amazon I
didn't even try for the same reasons so I thought there is no way I could
solve this problem. I posted message on Book Relay Forum asking some advice
and Pyan has immediately called eBay officials to ask for some other
solution.
Unfortunately none of those working for me so I thought I was lost case.
Then she decided to buy book I wanted to bid for and to send me as a RABCK!
And moreover she accepted to receive money that I'll send from abroad and
to bid in my name on eBay or to buy books for me through Amazon in the
future! Unfortunately problem about sending money (this time to her) has
appeared again but anyway she left me speechless.
At least I can do is to nominate her here because she certainly exemplifies
the generous nature of BookCrossers. Pyan I cannot thank you enough." -Zzz-

"In an effort to promote BookCrossing at an event that drew TONS of local
book lovers, MaryZee donated the better part of her Saturday (Nov. 12) to
running a BookCrossing booth in Westminster, Md., for the 9th Annual Random
House Bookfair. It's a hard thing to do, even with plenty of helpers, and
she did it all by herself! " -Wyldanthem- |

"I'd like to nominate cestmoi for this month's RABCK Round-Up.
I just received a wonderful surprise package from her - a box of 9 books, 3
of them books from my wish list! This isn't the first time she has sent me
a RABCK box of books and she knows just the kind of books I like to read." -Bluenoser- |

"I would like to nominate Vraciousrdr for knocking my socks off with her
recent RABCK of Cozy Mysteries..I came home from a lovely Thanksgiving
weekend to a large box..of what? Hmmmm..don't think I have any more
bookboxes coming my way at the moment..gee, maybe it's one of those
long-lost ones..I open it up to find a good dozen or more Cozy
Mysteries
- my favorites! and some I had never heard of. A veritable treasure
trove of Cozies! When I went to log the first one, vracious's most
recent note on the book said "a surprise RABCK"! For ME??? And as I
kept
logging them, I realized that she had sent me this whole box of my
favorite kinds of books as a RABCK! When I contacted her to thank her,
she simply said "well, I knew you liked Cozies, so enjoy!" All I can
say
is ..wow! Vraciousrdr has shown some true holiday spirit with her
generous and thoughtful gift. Happy Holidays, vraciousrdr!" -Scout-Finch |
