Kz4ufo Libertine101 "I 'met' kz4ufo through the Secret Valentine Card exchange she organized. She ended up COMPLETELY suprising me by sending me a book - not ANY old book, but a 4-books-in-1 book! So I now have 4 books of an author (Dave Barry) that I have not been able to find here, to read! :) The book is hardback and veryheavy, so I want to express my appreciation for the trouble and expense she went to for me! Thanks kz4ufo!!" - Libertine101-
Allysther Libertine101 "I'd like to nominate Allysther. After seeing the film Moloka'i which was fantastic, I was very interested in finding books fiction and non, about that subject. I posted on the Forums and Allysther who lives in Hawaii herself, responded. I was expecting one book...what I ended up with was 2 books based on Moloka'i PLUS a cat book PLUS a book off my WishList! What a great suprise!! :D" - Libertine101-
Hero Nyisutter "I would like to nominate Hero for restarting my Beany Malone series ring. She saw that the first four books have been stalled for several months, and that I had been trying in vain to restart it. She generously offered her books to get the ring going again, asking nothing in return. Thanks Hero!" -Nyisutter-
Mississippimom Kz4ufo "Last month I released 111 Dr. Seuss books (to honor Dr. Seuss's 100th Birthday celebration) throughout 4 cities in South Florida. MississippiMom created special Dr. Seuss BCID labels for all the books! I never asked her to do this; she volunteered these on her own. And if that wasn't enough, she sent me twelve Dr. Seuss books to release. The books she donated where in new condition and were released at two of the local hospitals (in the children's area). The hospital administrator I spoke to at the hospital in Vero Beach could not believe someone (MississippiMom) would do such a thing - especially to a hospital in another state! So I definitely want to throw my 'Cat in the Hat' hat off to MississippiMom for all the help and support she provided me during my special release. I couldn't have done it without her!" -kz4ufo-
TheWheelbarrow Sonora "Thursday night preConvention I was getting the car washed and mentally ticking off the errands I still had to do, when TheWheelbarrow called and told me she had made name tags for everyone, laminated, with holders, with miniature agendas on the back, AND put together a program with bios of all the speakers!

She would not let me give her any money for supplies or anything. This saved me a trip when I had no time, and really enhanced the Convention for everyone!" -Sonora-

Beachglass Hero "I nominated Beachglass, for her above-and-beyond kindness to a complete stranger (in so far as any of us are strangers here). She was coming to Ireland, must have searched members here and sent me a PM, saying that she was planning to bring 4 books to wild release here, and would bring anything I was interested in reading and release it where it would be convenient for me to find. We had to give this idea up as unworkable, as I couldn't get near where they were going. But after she got home (having duly done her wild releases here), she PM'd me again to ask for my address and sent me the two books I'd been interested in reading. So generous!" -Hero-
Kbob99 Ks4ufo "Fellow BookCrosser, kbob99, has done so much for me, I do not know where to begin! Anytime my bookshelf gets low (and it has, believe me!), I find a surprise book in the mail from her. Anytime I'm feeling blue, I find a surprise book in the mail from her. And just the other day, after having pulled out half my hair from an insane day of work, I find a surprise package in the mail from her. It was filled with BookCrossing bookmarks, the latest issue of "Realms of Fantasy" magazine, and a sheet of notepaper with a giant smiley face drawn on it! Her kindness is so genuine, that it is truly uplifting. I am blessed to have such a wonderful person in my life." -kz4ufo-
TheWheelbarrow Grover3d "I would like to nominate thewheelbarrow for the RABCK Round-Up. I've just returned from the Convention and I cannot even begin to tell you all the things that thewheelbarrow did, completely on her own, to make it special. First she created wonderful laminated nametags with lanyards for all attendees. The nametags include our BC screen name, our hometown, our state flag AND a full convention agenda. It was WONDERFUL. She also bought gifts for our fearless leaders and moderators, purchases baskets of goodies for us, created GREAT Convention programs, made a wonderful Convention journal......I could just go on and on.

And all this was in addition to her incredible documentary on her "Wheelbarrow" project. In memory of her grandmother she painted a wheelbarrow bright yellow and filled it with BC books. She then took it to various locations around her town to release books and she made a film of the experience (shown at the Convention and also at a film festival in California). No question that she is an amazingly talented woman - I'm so happy to have met her and can't thank her enough for her help in making the Convention memorable." -Grover3d-

MysteryLady36 BigBird2002 "I also wanted to nominate someone for your RABCK RoundUp. It is Mysterylady36. She really suprised me, and I wanted to recognise her. I am doing a couple of themed releases at the end of this year, and she send me some REALLY NEAT looking books for those releases. They are a Halloween and Christmas release, and I hope to release 100 books for each. When I posted a request on the Wish List forums, mysterylady36 said she would send me some books. I really think she went above and beyond and sent some that are sure to be exciting to catch by people of all ages." -BigBird2002-
Dawnmomoffour "I would like to nominate a bookcrosser for The RABCK ROUND-UP!
I have to say...I haven't had this much fun in ages! The keychains (like about 30 of them) arrived in the mail today after my message about my Birthday Goal of 1000 was put on the forums.
OMG....Each was in its own little envelope with something relevant to the keychain written on it. For example, one said " I always wanted a monkey. Adopt this attitude and ignore all unpleasantness :-)" Inside was a pewter keychain with three monkeys in a row up and down. It was the hear/see/speak no evil guys! I had a blast reading the envelopes and trying to guess what was inside.
When I saw the cow I about burst my belly laughing, and that's not even to mention the one that said, "Had enough yet?" after seeing the one that said, "How long can you go?" which was followed by "Need more keychains?" heh heh The deeper in the box I went, the cuter the sayings and the more I laughed. I needed a deep belly, soul deep laugh for a long time..and YOU gave it to me. Thank you so much for being just who you are. -Dawn (Who just loves the homemade ones and wonders what a shrinky dink is LOL) Psssst: After I read the enclosed directions with the shrinky dink plastic you sent..I'm sure I'll be a pro..LOL Thanks for the bookmarkers as well. They are great!" -Dawnmomoffour-
Staxman Libertine101 "Ever since rabcking me some labels, Staxman and I have been emailing and snail mailing, but just a few days ago he totally suprised me by sending me 2 books that are sure to make me laugh. :) He did not make any hints about it so they arrived as a wonderful suprise." - libertine101-
Pennina LadyGothic "Amid a forum chat of who collects what items, Pennina had a lace hankie which had been in her family and wished it a good home. The lace hankie phrase is a private joke with Malgo and I, one of my eldest online pals who became RL pals. I jumped at the chance to give this hankerchief a new home. It arrive on Good Friday, the celebration of the day Jesus began his new life.. Pennina sent 2 hankerchief packages, one was the one belonging to her great-aunt, very intricate and cared for. Amid the package was a UK pamphlet on quitting smoking, a wonderful personal letter ( I have never spoken to her directly/personally in the forum or PM) and even when I opened the tissue wrapped, antique hankerchief 2 tiny silver Scottish charms appeared!!!
I was so over whelmed at the total package. Without her knowng, I have scottish hertiage....at a time of my life when the tiniest things are a struggle, this package of love on such a significant day, REALLY touched my heart and life! I am at a loss on how to thank her except copying this and sending and soon can sit down and send her a letter." -LadyGothic-
Sha Libertine101 "I rabck'd Sha some time ago through the Book Wish List forum. I sent the book, she got it and I thought no more of it. Then by complete suprise, I get in the mail a novel from her. It was given to her as an rabck and so she gave it out as one too. I'll keep up the tradition of this book and do the same when I am done with it. :)Thanks Sha!" - libertine101-
Allysther Libertine101 "Allysther has been a very very generous Bcer with me, but she went 'above and beyond' a few days ago when I recieved a package from her. Inside were treats and toys for my two kitty boys. I recently bemoaned on the Forums that these items were in limited range and quality in Australia and offered people a book off my shelf in exchange. The response has been great, but I had no idea that Allysther was going to send me something. My kitty boys and I thank her! :)" - libertine101-
