Charmelie EllyMae58 "I'd like to recognize Charmelie. A couple of weeks ago I was having a very hard time getting to sleep, so I posted on the BC Chit-Chat forum asking for suggestions on how to get to sleep. Not only did she reply to my post with a relaxation technique, but today I received the nicest little envelope from her that contained a beautiful postcard of New Zealand, and some chamomile & passionfruit "sleep tea". What a sweetie! " -EllyMae58-
Eskielover SerenityBlue I'd like to tell you about my wonderful friend Eskielover, who not only winged me but has become a best friend, through not only BC, but also because of other shared interests. We play scrabble on the net, e-mail and call each other. If you take a look at her bookshelf you can see how obsessed she is about giving and read her profile to see what she's been up to. Even when she is down, sick, busy or having operations, taking care of her four wonderful dogs, she always finds the time to reach out to people. She has sent many m-bags to foreign countries and other bc'ers throughout the globe." -Serenityblue-
Ealisaid Megi53 "I accepted a book relay offered by ealisaid and when the book arrived -- faster than any bookcrossing book has ever arrived before -- a breathtakingly beautiful beaded bookmark was enclosed. How nice of ealisaid to notice that I was captivated by this craft! My teenage son even commented favorably on the gift." -Megi53-
SerenityBlue TexasWren "Earlier this month, I was going to have to have a medical test to see if I had the same disease that took my mother. I learned this on a Friday, and the test couldn't be scheduled until Monday, with results on Tuesday. I posted a message in chit-chat, asking for prayers and vibes for good results and help getting through the long, long 4 days. SerenityBlue offered me a copy of a cd that she had, which she had found comforting and inspirational. She sent it to me promptly. The test was ok, and I am still enjoying the cd tremendously. Thank you for your care and concern, SerenityBlue!" -TexasWren-
Bookczuk Megi53 "When bookczuk opened her OBCZ, "starbookz", several references to beaded bookmarks created for the occasion appeared in the forums. I expressed curiosity about them, and then admiration after a photograph was posted. Bookczuk offered me a RABCK and a gorgeous blue beaded bookmark was included with the book! (I noticed after the fact that bookczuk made a cryptic reference to sending this gift in her journal entry for "American Chica", but it had sailed right over my head before I got her package, resulting in a total surprise for me.)" -Megi53-

Starbookz and Bookczuk "I think a bunch of people, who helped get Starbookz OBCZ off the ground should be recognized.

The following wonderful bookcrossers have sent donations to our Charleston OBCZ to help get it started. Ours is a little shelf, but it has a LOT of bookcrossing support. Many thanks to all of you." -Bookczuk and Starbookz-

Netstation Jamesmum " In March, I asked NetStation if he'd be interested in trading an Alan Coren book for anything from my bookshelf. My husband is a Coren fan, but his books are hard to find in the US. NetStation didn't find anything of interest on my bookshelf, but he sent the book anyways, as a RABCK - and it was a hardcover book, AND he sent it to the US from the UK! I'm still trying to find a way to pay him back." -Jamesmum-
WhiteRaven13 Grover3d " I would like to recognize WhiteRaven13 for June's RABCK Round-Up. As most BCers know, I wanted to compile book titles for the BookCrossing 100 (BCers favorite books). I am not especially computer savvy and was doing the entire thing by hand in little notebooks. The wonderful WhiteRaven13 PMed me and volunteered to create a page where people could enter their OWN titles, saving me TONS of time. AND she's been marvelous about helping me with technical questions and revisions along the way. The BC 100 would have been about one hundred times more difficult without her help - what a wonderful BCer! " -Grover3d-
Yourotherleft Jamieh2003 "I'd like to nominate both Yourotherleft and another bookcrosser. Both were extremely quick to offer copies of the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder fo my niece, who is a burgeoning reader. Thanks to their generosity, my niece is about to discover the charm of this classic series." -Jamieh2003-
Libertine101 Firegirl "I have a wonderful RABCK to tell you about!! Libertine101 SO graciously offered up a book off her shelf to each person on her friends list. I offered to send her something in trade and she steadfastly refused. Said she just wanted to give her friends present. Can you get more generous than that? " -Firegirl-
Nyisutter Hero " Nyisutter has done some really generous things lately about lost bookrings and rays and still getting a bit of grief at times. " -Hero-
Hero TexasWren Hero won the RABCK drawing last month, and asked that the gift be sent to Nyisutter for all she has done. I thought that was a really nice thing to do." -TW-
