Cordelia-anne Mepwave "I would like to add cordelia-anne to the list. For her bookcrossing birthday she sent out 14 books to people to celebrate and I received a book of poetry. It was quite a wonderful way to celebrate I thought and in the spirit of bookcrossing." -Mepwave-
Caring BookCrossers Mojosmom This isn't exactly a RABCK, since I asked. And it isn't just one person. But my heart is so full right now that I had to send this.

Several months ago, a dear friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer. She had to undergo chemo and radiation therapy that gradually left her severely debilitated. I visited her in the hospital (she had her therapy at a place near me) and did everythng I could for her. One of those things was to ask BCers for vibes and prayers. They came through, and today those prayers were answered.

I just got this email from my friend:
"After finishing with the chemo and radiation, on April 18 I had surgery to remove what was left of the cancer in my neck. The pathologists report said that although some live cancer cells were found, all were encapsulated and thus removed.
I AM NOW CANCER FREE!!!!!
An aside - for any of you who thought having a "little cancer to make it easier to drop some weight" (as a friend mentioned she overheard) - this is definitely NOT a diet I recommend!
So now I just work on regaining strength and stamina, which is a very slow process. I'm up to working 2 to 3 hours a day, and go home pretty tired out. Things are improving, however, and at least I'm here to complain about it!!!!
Thanks to all of you for your help, your prayers, and your shared strength, which are the main things that got me through all of this. And boy, am I glad it's over!"

So even though I can't name one person, I'd like to nominate for the RABCK Round-up everyone who sent a good thought, a vibe, a prayer, in the direction of my friend.

Every so often, I get mad or testy at someone on the forums, but, at bottom, I really do love you all, and this is why. BCers are such caring, warm-hearted people. Each and everyone deserves to be recognized as such." -Mojosmom-

"I am nominating him on behalf of my sister-in-law (Steffie61167)...R-N-R did a RABCK and gave Steffie wings today. She had never met him, Stef has only been posting in the forums for a day or two...and Stef is thrilled to have met such nice people." -BoosterJ28 and Steffie61167-
Cordelia-Anne Guinaveve I would like to second the nomination for Cordelia-anne. She is one of the kindest people I have seen on BC. I posted that I was ISO books for a themed bookbox, and I was willing to send other books in exchange for them. Cordelia-anne sent me some books that fit the theme perfectly and asked for nothing in return. She also sent a book of children's poetry along for my son. I invited her to join my themed box, and when the box made it around to her, she had the kindest most thoughtful things to say about it in the journal entry and also reviewed the books that she took out of the box beautifully.

Thanks for giving me the oppurtunity to share her kindness." -Guinaeve-
