Libertine101 "With the recent break up of my 11 year relationship with my bf, a lot of BCers have stepped up and offered me a lot of support via email, PMs and snail mail.

To know there are people around the world who are thinking of you and caring about your wellbeing can make all the difference - especially now, having found myself living alone for the first time in my life." -Libertine101-

Jessibud Sherria "I'd like to nominate jessibud for the next RABCK Round-up. Out of the blue, and just in time for my birthday, a package arrived with not one, not two, but THREE books from my wishlist! There was also a beautiful handmade card included. This isn't the first time that jessibud has fulfilled some of my wishes. She always seems to be on the lookout for a way to make me smile.

I'm constantly surprised by the generosity of BXers (you'd think I would get used to it, after 2 years!), but acts of generosity like this always remind me just why I love this place so much." -Sherria-

Cackleberry Grorser "Cackleberry, in Australia, sent us the greatest collection of Australian bookmarks. Lovely, handy things. He is such a considerate person, and we would like him included in the June Round-Up." -Grorser-

OttawaBill Alrescate "I would like to submit Ottawabill this month. Ottawabill has been a lovely Bookcrossing friend fromt the moment I joined but he recently when over and beyond. Many moons ago I mentioned being interested in a specia pop-up book but that it was sold out. Since that time I had posted in the forum about my mother's health. Out of the blue Ottawabill sent me this book to remind me there are folks wishing great things for me even if I can't see them doing it.

His kind gift is a special balm at this time. I can't tell you how much this has meant to me." -Alrescate-

Cambridgelass 4-lele "I am a "newbie" desperately trying to figure out all the neat stuff to do but overwhelmed. A kindhearted soul gave me your Wren's Crossing website to help me out, I nominate her for your RABAk Round-up as someone who took a few moments out of their day to help me get started! Her screen name is cambridgeglass. It is great to have so many seasoned bookcrossers to lend a hand - thanks all!" -4-lele-
Bookworminusall Scout-Finch "I would like to nominate BOOKWORMINUSALL who has recently become a participant in the Release Challenges Forum, and a most enthusiastic one at that! Leaping in with both feet, BOOKWORM started the "A Bride a Day in June" Challenge and has been a terrific cheerleader and active Challenge Mom/Dad.. Additionally BOOKWORM has adopted the challenge I made months ago "June is for Dads, Brides and Grads" (that I had to bail on due to overwhelming work/school/volunteer commitemtns in June)..BOOKWORM has stirred up enthusiasm and regenerated that Challenge so it didn't just die on the vine from neglect, and I appreciate it! I look forward to participating in more of BOOKWORMINUSALL's Challenges!" -Scout-Finch-
LotusFlower77 SerenityBlue " I would like to nominate lotusflower77. She not only rback'd me Angel answers, but since I was having trouble getting in touch with a friend in a foreign land ,she was nice to send me a phone card especially for that call:) I made a really great friend too." -SerenityBlue-
MyCorner SerenityBlue "I would like to nominate Mycorner for sending that lovely bookstring to many people including myself:)" -SerenityBlue-
Tmoke Allysther "This nomination is all about RABCKs. Lots and lots of them. Tmoke has been sending me a steady stream of books for a year now, and I would love to thank her publicly.

A year ago, Tmoke offered 50 RABCKs for her birthday, and I was the lucky recipient of one of those books. The author (Mary Janice Davidson) was new to me, and I enjoyed it immensely, and so I passed it along at Table of Contents, my local Bookcrossing group. Four other readers also showed enthusiastic appreciation for the book, so when Tmoke offered me the second in the series, I snapped it up. Then she offered me a book from another series (same author), and I said, offhandedly, that I would be happy to read anything by this author. Silly me! Should I have been surprised when four books arrived? I was delighted, and read long into the night, as a meeting was just days away. Finally, today's mail contained yet another book by the same author. I believe I have now read every book she has published! Here's the wonderfully sweet part--the book was mailed to me in Hawaii, but I have moved to Germany. The journal entry when she sent it says that she registered this book (she had not registered all of the books she has sent over the past year) so that she could watch it's travels. I'd say it's done some traveling!

Thank you for considering this nomination. I hope he accepts, as I would love to let people know what an amazing Bookcrossing friend I have." -Allysther-

4-lele Cambridgelass "I would like to nominate 4-lele because, although she was new, she settled in really well. She surprised me with my wing,s which iIcherish and am very grateful for. 4-lele has been marvellous and deserves some recognition. thanks :)" -Cambridgelass-
Sherria Jessibud "I would like to nominate Sherria. I am sure she doesn't want this spread around, but she works for Fuji and ever since Shadie's teacher sweepstakes, back in the fall, she has been sending me single-use cameras! When Shadie first put out the idea for her sweepstakes, she asked what teachers need. I had suggested those cameras as I use them alot in my class. Sherri PM'd privately to offer to send me some (long before I won the sweepstakes). Then, when I did win, there were several in that box, too.

About a month or so ago, just as I was coming to the end of my *supply*, she PM'd me out of the blue and offered me some more and sent me a few more (she gets them as an employee and for customer giveaways but says they often just sit on the shelf!)

So, I was only too happy to find some of her wishlist books and surprise her, as a small token of my appreciation. Not even close to what she deserves! It was sheer coincidence that she was also having a birthday, I had no idea!

I'd love to nominate HER for a rabck roundup." -Jessibud-

One4WorldPeace LMD "I am writing to nominate One4worldpeace.

This person pm'ed me out of the blue one day and offered me 8, yes I said 8, books off of my wishlist. I was shocked and almost in tears. I didn't know that people could be so nice. I even offered to cover cost of shipping or books off my shelf. One4worldpeace wanted no postage and no books, just wanted to share her mother's love of VC Andrews with someone else!" -LMD-

WingedMan 4-lele "I am back with another nomination. This one is very special.. July 15th is the “anniversary” of my daughter, Kelli’s death. She was struck by a car as a pedestrian and killed at the age of 14. For several years, at Christmas, I have always chosen a book and released it to several friends with a poem inside and instructions to “pass it on” – this was long before I became a member of bookcrossing (just joined in June 2005) and even before bookcrossing existed. This last Christmas I was unable to make a release due to too many of my own surgeries.

I made a post on the “Chit Chat” Forum titled “On death…please don’t shy away”. WingedMan responded with a PM and asked if it would be OK to release a book in Kelli’s memory. I said that would be great. His PM gave me the courage (I was afraid of being ignored and causing more pain during this difficult time of year) to create an “In Memory ONE Book Release Challenge”

Not only did WingedMan give me the courage and push I needed to put together this “Challenge” but I noticed on his “Bookshelf” that he liked Scrabble – and so do I, but I don’t have many partners here. He plays on-line and he set me up with an account and we played Scrabble this week together – a nice diversion during this difficult week. Scrabble allows for “communication” between players with each play and we were able to get know each other a bit and share a bit of ourselves. He, as well as many, many bc’ers helped with “technical” issues that arose. If he has already been nominated I hope you can find it in your heart to make an exception (please no hard and fast rules) and add him to the next RABACK list. " -4-Lele-

Wonderful BookCrossers Around the World 4-Lele Note from Wren: This RABCK is sort of a continuation of the one above.

"WingedMan's PM gave me the courage (I was afraid of being ignored and causing more pain during this difficult time of year) to create an “In Memory ONE Book Release Challenge”. There was an overwhelming response – especially for a “newbie” like me, still learning to “tag” and all the technical issues that arise. A total of 64 people registered and released books. -WOW! Many people lit candles and sent pictures – from my first request to join me in candlelighting on the “ Chit-Chat” Forum. My family was deeply moved by this outpouring of care from the bc community.

I would like to add all that participated in this “Challenge” for they all deserve to be r ecognized – with their many poems, thoughts, prayers and book releases-it was this group that put this onto the “hottest threads” list for four days, all the way up to #1! How amazing, heart-warming and caring for someone so new to bookcrossing!" -4-Lele-

4-Lele WingedMan "I would like to nominate 4-Lele for the RABCK drawing. Her kindness and warmth shine brightly. It's wonderful to have her in the Bookcrossing family!" -WingedMan-
